Just signed an agreement with G-Cash.

Because of this, and other further internal streamlining initiatives, I expect major improvements with PCS processes in the next 1-2 semesters.

P. S. In addition to faster payouts, part of our agreement is to promote DIGITAL PAYMENTS , especially in the Mega Market.

Thank you: PASIG TRIPARTITE INDUSTRIAL PEACE COUNCIL (TIPC), DOLE, NLRC, DMW, RCMB, all government agencies, and most imporantly, the labor and management representatives of various companies. also to our Labor Committee Chair Konsi Coach Paul Senogat and City Council.

Let’s continue working for a healthy relationship between labor and management in our city.

Aside from many improvements in the last few years, businesses in Pasig can expect even more improvements with regard to process streamlining and digitization in the next 1-2 yrs.

We always encourage them to take advantage of every opportunity available, towards a better future.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR PASIG CITY
SEE YOU TOMORROW (Oct 13) AT THE STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS 2025.

With all due respect to Bilyonaryo News Channel, I was quoted wrong.

‘In the Philippines, fighting corruption feels like death by a thousand cuts — each small victory eroded by the system’s capacity to regenerate. But Vico Sotto is proving it can be done,’ writes Nobel laureate Maria Ressa in her profile of Sotto for TIME

In TIME’s profile on Sotto written by Rappler CEO and 2021 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Ressa, she described how the young mayor, now on his third and final term, has been battling corruption in his city in the heart of the nation’s capital.
“In the Philippines, fighting corruption feels like death by a thousand cuts — each small victory eroded by the system’s capacity to regenerate. But Vico Sotto is proving it can be done. At 36, Pasig City’s mayor has toppled a 27-year family dynasty not through money or machinery, but through radical transparency: a 24/7 information and complaints hotline, public procurement that’s livestreamed, and the slashing of project costs by eliminating kickbacks,” Ressa said.
She recalled how Sotto addressed the COVID-19 pandemic “based on need, not political loyalty,” such as ”zero-emission buses that moved workers without inflated contracts.”
“His courageous approach — data-driven, direct, and empathetic — is a master class in modern, ethical leadership and has twice won him re-election, including in May. It’s a testament to the power of the individual to ignite a movement for change,” Ressa said.
